C.I.T. PROGRAM | Teen Program for individuals entering grades 8th, 9th, & 10th (under the age of 16)
Our Counselor in Training program gives teens a place to learn about leadership, responsibility, caring, communication, and understanding in a cohesive environment. CITs will learn what it takes to be a leader within a group by building confidence, trust and respect. CITs will have the opportunity to development leadership roles in our day camp, developing creative programs and working with younger campers. This camp provides a great opportunity to gain self-confidence, improve leadership skill, learn how to work with children of all ages and have fun at the same time! The CIT is a role model, not a counselor! The right individual is someone who is focused, mature, and cares about working with younger children. Each day, CITs will be assigned to a group or program area to assist with daily activities.
All interested teens must complete the CIT packet and return to the camp director indicating their interest in participating with the program. At that point, the camp director may set up a pre- camp meeting to determine if they will be a fit for the 2018 season. Emails must come from the teen themselves.
ALL CIT POSITIONS FOR THE SUMMER OF 2018 HAVE BEEN FILLED.
