The Princeton Family YMCA’s Special Needs Adaptive Program (SNAP) is designed for individuals ages 5 through 30 with special needs. Recognizing the need for quality adaptive programming for individuals in the Princeton area, SNAP helps individuals gain confidence, promote independence and responsibility, socialize and work with others, as well as nurture a healthy and active lifestyle. All programs are lead by qualified, trained individuals who help promote a safe, friendly and supportive environment.

A comprehensive program of yoga techniques designed to enhance the natural development of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.
This program includes an integrated series of balanced yoga poses to increase body awareness, strength and flexibility, as well as specialized breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to improve concentration and reduce hyperactivity. Zumba classes are rockin’, high-energy fitness parties packed with specially choreographed, friendly routines. The positive effects it has on kids include increasing their focus and self-confidence, boosting metabolism and enhancing coordination in a small group setting.
