S.N.A.P. – SPECIAL NEEDS ADAPTIVE PROGRAM

The Princeton Family YMCA’s Special Needs Adaptive Program (SNAP) is designed for individuals ages 5 through 21 with special needs. Recognizing the need for quality adaptive programming for individuals in the Princeton area, SNAP helps individuals gain confidence, promote independence and responsibility, socialize and work with others, as well as nurture a healthy and active lifestyle. All programs are lead by qualified, trained individuals who help promote a safe, friendly and supportive environment.

S.N.A.P. Aquatics

This class is designed for beginners through advanced who need specialized attention to suit their needs in the pool.  Each student works one-on-one with an instructor.

S.N.A.P. Yoga

A comprehensive program of yoga techniques designed to enhance the natural development of individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.

This program includes an integrated series of balanced yoga poses to increase body awareness, strength and flexibility, as well as specialized breathing exercises and relaxation techniques to improve concentration and reduce hyperactivity.

Classes available for children and adults in a private, semi-private and small group setting.
