For the past ten years, Charles Hurley has been a fencing instructor at the Princeton and Hillsborough Family YMCAs.  During this period, he has trained Garden State Champions, a North American Cup champion, and a National Champion in the sport.  Chuck has been an avid fencer for 32 years and remains a competitor as well as a fencing instructor. He was captain of the University of Michigan epee team, a past Michigan state champion and a back-to-back Master's one-touch epee champion in Michigan.  Chuck is currently ranked 16th in the country in his age group in the Veterans division for epee. Last year he acquired his Prevost d' Armes certificate through the French Fencing Academy.

Tim Jones is the fitness coordinator for the YMCA and provides personal training services for YMCA members. Following twenty-seven years of service, Tim retired as Fire Captain from the Trenton Fire Department where he continually stressed the importance of physical fitness and healthy living to his fellow firefighters. This same interest motivated him to enroll in the WITS personal training certification course at Mercer County Community College. Tim has since added many certifications to his resume and continues to enjoy motivating his clients, both new and old, to achieve their fitness goals by improving their fitness level. Tim is also certified by the American Heart Association in CPR/AED.

Marcos Lucchetti is trained in the French and Italian schools of fencing. As a member of the Argentine National Fencing team, he competed in the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, the 1983 University Olympic Games in Canada and the Pan American Games during his competitive career. He then coached the Argentine and Peruvian National teams to victories in both national and international competitions.  Since moving to the U.S. he has led students to victories in the Northern California Division, Mountain Valley Division, Pacific Coast Section and on the national circuit. Recently he was designated U.S. coach for the Junior World Championships in Trapani, Italy; Plodiv, Bulgaria and Linz, Austria.

Joanne Parker plays a major part in supporting the YMCA’s youth and family programs. A native of Princeton and graduate of Princeton High School, Ms. Parker has been a contributing member of the community for her entire life. A devoted educator and mentor to children, she has worked in a variety of positions for the Princeton Regional Schools for 23 years.
